 As one of the biggest distributors in the state, Gemak owns its own office space in the center of Skopje, 800 m2 of storage space in the center of Skopje and network of vehicles which are used for daily distribution of products.In addition to being known for its technical preparedness/capability and distribution infrastructure, Gemak is one of the rare companies in the country known for building and developing its popularity and “brand awareness” for the products that it represents and sells. | Gemak is a centrally managed organization, i.e. it has one owner. The responsibilities are further on delegated to the General Director – Samir Maliki (export – import), Marketing Director and Public Relations (Radmila Pavlovska) and Financial Director (Irena Spasovska). The different activities are conducted within the several sectors – the beverage sector, the tobacco product sector, the mobile telephone sector the logistics and administration sector. In the Gemak team they say that this organizational structure can best and most efficiently accomplish the goals of the company. However, they see the real value of the company in the team spirit that all employees share and is, as they say, so strong as if they were one big family. They are proud of their multiethnic structure and of the role and position that the owner of the company has in the community thanks to his activities out of the business sphere as well as of the reputation he has in the professional arena. It started with trading, import and distribution of electrical devices and consumer goods , excise goods, including duty free business in the period from 1991 to 1994. In that period Gemak opened a sale network of prestige stores in Skopje.
